A while ago they posted looking for more contributing writers, I applied and was accepted. Super excited for this new opportunity to share things I find interesting. Normally it’s so bright that you really can’t get an idea of what's truly going on, however if you pulse 1000W at the weld then suddenly it can be captured by camera and the results are very cool and it starts to make sense the pattern left behind once things cool.

This is a neat article showing how it’s become so common over the last few decades and what it’s inclusion enables.
