All,
Over the last few years I randomly sent out cool articles/links to some of you revolving around tech stuff, in lieu of social media I spend far too much time reading various tech/engineering pages and while most of it is not worth sending along at times certainly find some really good ones that I learn from and hopefully you too can. My goal will be to make notes throughout the moth month and publish a new page every month for those interested.
A better way to think about integration, this ~10min long video is an easy watch and may help reframe how you think about integration and how to potentially use it in problem solving : https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MwVBzE7Z5gw
These little web applets are an awesome way to turn the knobs on various physics models that are often hard to intuitively understand how they work: https://falstad.com/mathphysics.html
This is an older one but one of my favorites to deep dive into, with the work we do here the GPS and Camera/Lenses articles are especially useful: https://ciechanow.ski/archives/
There are no shortages of 3D printer videos out there, this one I thought was interesting as it was fairly straightforward/fast but also talked about the highpoints for adjusting 3D print strengths mainly number of walls, infill patterns and infill percentage: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1Xuw93DnWwM
I normally won’t share too many of the academic publications as they are often a good ways off from being a practical thing, however knowing metal 3D printing is an interest around here thought this was interesting: https://www.rmit.edu.au/news/all-news/2024/feb/titanium-lattice
